This consists of High Exchange capacity strongly acidic cation – sodium form resin. The cation resin is used to chemically convert the Calcium and Magnesium ions present in the Hard Water to Sodium ions, thereby making the water “Soft”. Whenthe resin bed is exhausted it should be regenerated using Sodium Chloride solution.
