These are manufactured in two types, Interlocking & normal In case of The interlocking blocks the use of cement paste is recommended for the joints. Since these blocks have uniform size, The wall is always in Plum and hence a lot of saving is there in Plaster, also 12 mm plaster develops less cracks as compared to the thicker plaster. In case of earthquake the wall sustains itself as the blocks vibrate in the joints, Hence the possibility of wall coming down is reduced to a larger extent.
