The apparatus is designed to provide confining pressure upto 160 Bar to triaxial cells.The system consists of an oil pump, continuously driven by an electric motor during the entire period of operation to maintain the desired pressure. The unit provides continuous variable pressure upto 160 Bar, which can be increased or decreased, simply by turning a control knob.
