Sterling & Wilson was formed in 1927 as Wilson Electric Works and subsequently became Sterling & Wilson in 1971 when the Shapoorji Pallonji Group took a 51% stake in the company. The SP Group, owned by the Mistry family, is a well-diversified business house, with clients in over 50 countries, delivering complex and challenging projects for over 150 years. The Mistry and Daruvala families have been partners in S&W for 3 generations.
