Eucalyptus oil has clear,sharp, fresh and very distinctive smell. Its oil is pale yellow in color. Eucalyptus oil is extracted from seed by steam distillation. Its plant reaches up to 100m(300 feet) in height. There are over 500 spices available of eucalyptus tree with tough long and narrow blue-green leaves ,creamy white flower and smooth pale bark. The word 'eu' and 'kalypto' means 'well' and 'covered' in Greek. Eucalyptus oil is useful as a warming oil when used for muscular aches and pains, rheumatoid arthritis, sprains and poor circulation. It can be used for burns, blisters, herpes, cuts, wounds, skin infections and insect bites.
