Coco peat (cocopeat), also known as coir pith. coir fibre pith, coir dust, or Easily coir, is made from coconut husks, which are byproducts of other industries that use coconuts Cocopeat mainly consists of the coir fibre pith or coir dust which is retrived by processing coconut husk and expel the long fibres. The cocopeat which is secure can hold large quantities of water, just like a sponge. It is used as a restorations for traditional peat in soil mixtures, or, as a soil-less substrate for plant farming.

• Cocopeat is a multi purpose growing medium built out of coconut husk. The fibrous coconut husk is pre washed, machine dried, sieved and made free from sand and other contagion such as animal and plant residue.
