Coated Abrasive Flap Wheels

Coated Abrasive Flap Wheels are wheel made from abrasives flaps radiating from centre metal hub. It has an increased flap count and is consequently used in aggressive cutting. Larger diameter of Coated Abrasive Flap Wheels also produces higher peripheral speeds that added to the stiffness and aggressive cutting and better contour finish. Coated Abrasive Flap Wheels are used by mounting in double sided or single sided bench grinder.
Warning & Safety Guide

• Extreme care should be used when operating any flap wheel.
• If a wheel disengages during use, it could cause serious injury to any unprotected body parts.
• Improper use of running flanges can cause a flap wheel to disengage and cause injury.
• All flap wheels must be run with a proper sized pair of running flanges one running flange on each flap wheel
• Do not use running flanges that are too small or too big!
• Running flanges should be the same diameter as the flapwheel center flange.
• Prior to installation examine product for defects.
• Arrows on side of the flapwheel should point in the direction of spindle rotation
• Excessive or unusual vibration would indicate the need for corrective action. Shut the   machine down immediately, determine the cause and correct the situation.
• Always use protective glasses and or face shields and hand gloves nb. For flap wheel operational speed, please contact our service engineer.
