CNG being an environment friendly fuel is the preferred alternative to Petrol and Diesel, as an alternate fuel for vehicles. With the growth of CNG infrastructure in the country this demand is ever increasing. We manufacture CNG cylinders for ONBOARD application in the range of 20 litres to 160 litres Water Capacity and these cylinders are widely used by the smallest auto rickshaws to large commercial trucks and buses.
MKC pioneered the manufacture of CNG cylinders in the country way back in 1993, when the first lot of cylinders was supplied to Ashok Leyland for use in BEST buses. Today our cylinders are used by leading OEM’s as well as retrofitters.

Maruti is also playing a vital role in the development of CNG infrastructure in India and abroad. The company is currently executing Asia’s largest order for supply of 352 CNG cascades to Indraprastha gas Ltd. (IGL), Delhi. In addition, MKC has supplied large number of cascades to Mahanagar Gas Ltd., Mumbai and Tripura Natural Gas Co. Ltd, Tripura and also regularly exports cylinders and cascades to neighbouring countries.
These cylinders are manufactured in water capacities ranging from 1 to 160 liters, OD from 108 mm to 356 mm and working pressure from 150 Kgf/cm² to 400 Kgf/cm². Our products are manufactured using the latest technology and manufacturing practices and conform to relevant Indian and export standards for domestic and International markets. We are an ISO 9001:14001 company certified by QSI and also accredited by ANAB.
Our state of the art manufacturing facility is located at Halol near Vadodara (Baroda) in Gujarat (India) and our manufacturing range includes cylinders for Industrial Oxygen, Argon, Nitrogen, Helium, Hydrogen, Carbon Dioxide, Medical Oxygen, Nitrous Oxide, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for Onboard use in vehicles ( as fuel tanks) and Cascades. Our cylinders are also widely used in specialised fire fighting systems for large power plants and refineries by leading Indian and international EPC companies.
