The clenched bush also has a basic similarity with the solid sleeve and spilt bushes since even this type of bush is a “sleeve” of material with outside diameter, inside diameter and length. It is even further similar to the split type bush because this type also has a long cut along its length. The difference is that this type of bush has a clench (or clinch) across the cut connecting the parts.
