Clay Desiccant Pouches

We offer clay desiccant pouches. Maxsorb* clay desiccant pouches, sachets, bags made from bentonite [montmorillinite] clay which has a special affinity for moisture. Clay is a good basic desiccant that works satisfactorily below 120f (approximately 50c). It contains a highly activated, chemically inert and non-corrosive desiccant which absorbs moisture vapor through the capillary action of adsorbent particles without changing the physical shape of the particles or the bag. Its stable dehydrating ability is close to traditional silicon gel desiccant in all kinds of humidity.
compared to other two kinds of desiccants, clay desiccant is the least expensive one. Tyvek® packaging, which holds in dust better than other packaging material choices, tends to be the preferred packaging for bentonite clay since it yields a high amount of dust.
