• LATAN CR is light fastness is very good and astringency is very low;thus there is 

   excellent grain smoothness and fineness.

• LATAN CR stability to electrolytes is good, thus suitable for all procedures.

• If the leather is retanned with LATAN CR, it offers, on account of the limited anionic

  character, a quite good performance as far as dyeing is concerned.

• LATAN CR promotes softness, dye ability & buffing when used to retan suede.

• LATAN CR exhausts almost completely from the retanning bath at elevated

   temperature & pH. (retanning with LATAN CR & neutralizing in the same bath)

• LATAN CR used as a pretanning agent for leathers that are to be vegetable

   Synthetically tanned, on account of its high contents of masked chromium complexes, 

   effects rapid penetration of the pelts & substantially accelerates the subsequent tanning

   process. Thus it gives fullness as well as softness to the leather.

• LATAN CR speeds up & equalizes penetration of chromium sulphate resulting in a very 

   uniform chrome distribution & improves the softening effect.
