SITCO offers top-class Chlorpyrifos which is one of the most commonly used organo-phosphate insecticides.

This crystal-like insecticide not just control target pests but also prevents the beneficial insects from getting harmed. This selectiveness availed by Chlorpyrifos is really its great positive.

Crops on which Chlorpyrifos can be intensely used include cotton, almonds, com and certain fruit trees like apples, bananas and oranges. The insecticide is usually available as a 50% or 23.5% liquid concentrate. But for direct spray pin-point application, the concentration recommended is 0.5% and when it is to be applied on a wide area, a concentration of 0.03% to 0.12% is suggested.

Though the insecticide is really effective in agriculture, direct exposure to it must be avoided. Lots of adverse health impacts like prostate and lung cancer, nervous system damage, reduced birth weight and endocrine disruption may intrude.
