Chlorine Testers

Small amount of sample is collected in a test tube and the corresponding reagent is added to the sample. Color of the sample changes and the same is compared with the respective color chart. The reading of the matched color on the color chart is the concentration of the respective parameter in the water. Chlorine in the sample as Hypochlorous Acid or Hypochlorite ion (free Chlorine or free available Chlorine) immediately, reacts with Ortho Toludine indicator to form a yellow color, which is proportionbal to the Chlorine Concentration.
