Chlorambucil is used to treat some cancers particularly cancer of white blood cells and cancers of the lymphatic system. In cancer, certain cells in the body grow and multiply too fast. Chemotherapy (anti-Cancer) medicines like chlorambucil work by preventing the growth and division of cells, and this reduces the number of cancer cells body makes. It can be prescribed for both adults and children. Chlorambucil is available in tablet form for oral administration.
