Chisel dressers are used to form accurate profiles on grinding wheels. These tools all consist of a specific angle and a specific radius. A larger radius is generally used for roughing Larger radii and a smaller radius for finishing or producing smaller radii. However unlike the diaform these chisels need to be indicated for accurate performance.

Various shanks, radii, flats and angles are available on these chisels. See below

30 degree included angle	0.05mm Radius
40 degree included angle	0.10mm Radius
50 degree included angle	0.20mm Radius
55 degree included angle	0.40mm Radius
60 degree included angle	0.50mm Radius
70 degree included angle	1mm Radius
