Chickpeas

The chickpea or chick pea is a yearly vegetable of the family Fabaceae, subfamily Faboideae. Its various kinds are differently known as gram or Bengal gram, garbanzo or garbanzo bean, Egyptian pea, chana, and chole. Chickpea seeds are high in protein. In spite of the fact that the most widely recognized kind of chickpea shows up round and beige, different varieties can be dark, green, and red.
