Ceramic Band Heater that we offer is known for conserving energy as it uses a 1/4" thick ceramic fiber insulating blanket that reduces power consumption by 25 to 30 percent. Because of its low thermal conductivity, the external surface temperature of the Ceramic Band Heater remains approximately 200ºC while running and the inside surface temperature remains 600ºC. The flexibility of the metal housing allows the use of wider and one piece band heaters. Ceramic Band Heater is widely used in plastic injection moulding machines extruders and blow moulding equipment.
