Paramount DigiMOIST i9™ is an Advanced sensitive Equipment to check the Moisture of Textile in any form (Loose cotton, Cotton balls, Yarn cones, Fabric, Garments, Moving Fabrics & even Cardboard Box of garments). It measures the moisture by sensing the electrical resistance of the hygroscopic material. The sensing can be done with one of the five types of the sensors supplied. The selection of the sensors depends upon, the form of the material. Pin type sensors can be used for loose cotton material cones, cheese. Flat type of sensors can be used for fabrics, garments. Roller type of sensors can be used for fabric or yarn or web running on the machine. The long probe sensors are made specially made for cotton bales.
The instrument operates with the help of an inbuilt battery which is placed inside the equipment that can be charged on 220v 50hz AC supply. It consists of following sensors depending upon the form of material.
a. Pin type sensor having 2 long pins : For cotton bales
b. Pin type sensor having 6 small pins : For loose cotton, yarns cones, etc.
c. Pin type sensor having 2 small pins : For loose cotton, yarns cones etc.
d. Flat type sensor : For fabrics, garments, etc.
e. Roller type sensor : For fabric in running condition
