CBR Test Apparatus (motrorized As Per Is: 2720-part-xvi)

The CBR test is used for determining the relative bearing ratio and expansion characteristics under known surcharge weight of base, sub- base and sub grade soil for the design of roads, pavements and runways.
The apparatus consists of
LOAD FRAME: Load Frame motorized capacity 50kN (5000kgf) having 3 rates of strains i.e. 1.25, 1.5 and d 2.5 mm/ minutes. It consists of a screw jack with a detachable handle. The lower platen moves up and down. The top bracket is adjustable for vertical clearance and has an adaptor for connecting standard Proving Rings. A dial gauge mounting bracket is provided on one of t h e two pillars. It is suitable for operation on 220 volts, 50Hz, single phase A.C supply. The apparatus is supplied with complete accessories.
