Resin Bond wheels are manufactured using either phenolic or polyimide resin for grinding very hard materials which conventional abrasives cannot manage.The phenolic are for lower stress, cooler cutting applications and the polyimide for higher stress more wear resistant applications.Resin Bond can achieve extremely fine finishes when used with micron diamond.
