Carnauba Wax

Carnauba Wax is exuded by the leaves of the Brazilian " Tree of Life " ( Capernica Cerifera ) to conserve the moisture with in the tree and the leaves .This carnauba palm grows in the northern and northeastern parts of Brazil and very little some other parts of the World. .These tree needs very little water to grow but it is very prolific and after about fifty years it is obtained from the leaves of the carnauba palm by collecting them, beating them to loosen the wax, then refining and bleaching the wax.

Carnauba Wax Properties: Amorphous, hard, tough and lustrous.
