Carfilzomib is an antineoplastic agent, Available for intravenous use onnly. Carfilzomib is a sterile, White to off white lyophilized powder and is available as a single dose vial. Each vial contains 60 Mg of carfilzomib, 3000mg sulfobutylether beta-cyclodxtrin, 57.7 mg citric acid, and sodium hydroxide for pH adjustments.

Carfilzomib is modified tetrapeptidyl epoxide, Isolate as the crystalline free base.

Indications And Usage:- Carfilnat is indicated in combination with dexamethasone or with lenalidomide plus dexamethasone for the

treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have received one to three lines of therapy.

Renal Impairment:-No starting dose adjustment is required in patients with baseline mild, moderate, or severe renal impairment or patient on chronic dialysis. Dialysis clearance of carfilzomib Concentrations has not been studied. The drug should be administered after the dialysis procedure.

Overdose:-There is known specific antidote for carfilzomib over dosage. In the event of overdose, the patient should be monitored, specifically for the side effects and/or adverse reactions listed. but acute onset of chills, Hypotension, Renal insufficiency, thrombocytopenia, and lymphopenia has been reported following a dose of 200Mg of carfilzomib administered in error.
