Green cardamom seeds are actually brown in colour but are called green cardamom. Cardamom is the third most expensive spice in the world after Saffron and Vanilla.
Spices should ideally be stored between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. Under ideal conditions, ground spices will keep for a year and whole spices for 1 to 2 years. Tightly close the container immediately after use and return it to a cold storage space as soon as possible.
