Cardamom has a strong, unique taste, with an intensely aromatic fragrance. Cardamom is the dried, unripened fruit of the plant. Cardamom is best stored in pod form, because once the seeds are exposed or ground, they quickly lose their flavor. The fruit capsules are green in colour, which are collected just before maturity. In India, the Cardamom is cultivated in the Western Ghats. We buy Cardamom from the cultivator through spices board. The bulk farmer grade is the mixer of all sizes. Cardamom is manually cleaned and sorted by machinery into different sizes. The Cardamom Pod diameter is from 4mm - 11mm and it is sorted normally to four different range of sizes. Specifications :
