Contact SupplierPrinted Gallery Wrapped Canvas is similar to stretch canvas; the only difference is the sides or wrapped edges of the canvas are printed either with part of the image (either a mirrored or extended image) or with the dominant colour from the image. A printed cotton canvas is hand-stretched over a "pine wood stretcher bar," which is a thick but light wooden frame. The printed canvas is then stapled to the wooden frame. A printed photo or painting is correctly sized and positioned over a pine wood stretcher bar frame. Hooks are attached to the backside of the stretched canvas for hanging this borderless frame on the wall. Pinewood stretcher bars are usually 0.75 to 1 inch thick and 1.5 to 2 inches wide, depending on the ordered size. Masking tape is used to hide stapled pins that are used to secure or hold the canvas on the stretcher frame.
