CALTAN Deluxe Automatic BOD Incubator

Application:This type of incubator is finding increasing , use in many biology, botany, virology, Oceanography , Water pollution , Sewage, Agriculture and Food Research Laboratories . It provides a wide range of conditions for studies of synthesing organisms. Temperatures are attainable within the cabinet, enabling the user to study the growth of organisms under tropical or temperature and summer or winter conditions, independent of ambient temperature. Designed to maintain constant temperature for use in making standard B.O.D.

(BIOCHEMICAL OXYGEN DEMAND) determinations on water and sewage. Arrangement for heating and cooling temperature from 5 º C to 60 º C at normal room temperature , with control accuracy of plus minus 1 º C makes it useful in the biological laboratory for the preservation of vaccines, such as insulin and liver extracts at 15 ºC for serological and complement fixation tests at low temperatures, for enzymatic digestion process and in the physical or chemical laboratory for general low temperatures use.

Construction:This is double walled cabinet insulated with 75mm puff insulation between interior and exterior walls. Outer chamber made of Mild Steel and painted in Epoxy Powder coating. The inner chamber made of Anodized aluminium with self supports allowing wide range of self position and spacing. Supplied with three removable perforated anodized aluminium shelves. Full view inner acrylic door allows inspection of Samples without disturbing temperature of working chamber. Outer double walled metal door with MAGNETIC GASKET and lock & key. Door operated illumination lamp. Cabinet is mounted and castors.

Operation:Temperature is controlled by Electronic Digital Temp. Controller cum Indicator from 5 º C to 60 ºC in the variation plus minus 1 º C.The evaporator coil, sealed round heating element are provided in the air duct at the back near the top wall in the working space. Inside air circulating system is provided by F.H. Motor’s Fan which keeps uniform temp. throughout the chamber. A quiet running sealed compressor ( CFC FREE) with all its protective devices alongwith a fan cooled condensing coil are placed below the working chamber.

Control Panel:Control panel is provided at the top of the cabinet with 3 nos. indicators for main heating and cooling. Connecting cord with plug suitable to work on 220/230 Volts A.C. 50 cycles. This BOD shall be fitted with 3 step voltage stabilizer if, you have voltage input more than 270V. then we shall supply servo voltage stabilizer

Deluxe Automatic:Microprocessed temp. controller with its accessories have been fixed to cut off automatically either heating or cooling system irrespective of the ambient temp. increases or decreases from the set temp. of the chamber and accuracy of the temp. would be +/- 1 deg.c
