Radix calibrators offer several functions. Operating in measuresource mode, these instruments can handle rtd, ma, mv, thermocouple (tc) and ohms signals amongst others. They can also simulate a 4-20 ma and 24 v loop supply to calibrate other instruments. Microcal is lightweight and cost-efficient and radical is a full-featureed cailbrator. Both are microcontroller based, incorporating a highly stable reference and automatic error correction.
