Calendula officinalis is a place in the genus Calendula of the family Asteraceae. It is probably indigenous to southeast European countries, though its long record of farming makes its accurate source unidentified, and it could possibly be of lawn origin.Calendula absolute is produced by the solution method from the flowers and contains Calendulin, waxes and a little amount of unpredictable oil.
