Contact SupplierConsisting of Borosilicate glass tube open at both ends. The heating element is a coil about 40cm long of nichrome wire and is wound spirally inside along the axis of the glass tube. The element is easily detachable and is encased in a wooden case lined with felt and provided with a hinged cover. The leads are carried to terminals. Complete with contact level tank of brass fitted on stand. The apparatus when fitted is leak proof. The two metal pots are of thick brass sheet. Without thermometers or meters.
Application & Usage :- To determine the mechanical equivalent of heat by Calendar and Barnes's Method
