Applications

• In the production of glossy paper, replacing kaolin and talc.
• In plastics
• For the purpose of purifying iron, from iron ore in a blast furnace and to collect impurities present in the steels.
• As filler material for latex gloves, as precipitated Calcium carbonate (pre-dispersed in slurry form).
• As an extender in paints, distempers, cement paints and emulsion paints.
• As a weighting material to increase the density of drilling fluids, to control downhole pressures and as a filter-cake sealing agent in drilling fluids.
• As a building material and for the purpose road-building and as the starting material for preparing lime used by builders.
• As filler in plastics, PVC compound, PVC granules and PVC colored masteratches.
• In manufacturing of adhesives, sealants, and decorating fillers and in setting stained glass windows, along with putty.
• As a common ingredient for many glazes, in ceramics/glazing applications.

Brightness : We have washing facility to wash out all visible impurities in Calcite Lumps. It provides maximum whiteness in Lumps. The Whiteness in our grades is available up to 98%.
