A Bunsen Burner is a piece of equipment, invented by the German Chemist, Robert Wilhelm Bunsen in 1855. A University mechanic, Peter Dasaga, produced the first Burner as per Bunsen's specifications. The Bunsen Burner  produces a single open flame, used for heating, sterilization and combustion. It is most frequently used in chemistry laboratories, everywhere in the world.
