The KDS-181 Bubbler Based Water Level Sensor measures water level by detecting the pressure required to force air through a submerged tube. It uses gage pressure sensors for automatic atmospheric pressure compensation. The technique is highly suitable for measurements in hazardous areas and for remote, automated, in-situ observatories. The air tube is the only submerged part of a bubbler system and is easily replaceable when damaged. The sensor is hence, ideal for areas where damage due to corrosion, clogging, contamination, debris, lightning, or vandalism is likely to occur. It can be set up for autonomous measurement as well as be a slave to a host system.
Features:
Offset-drift compensation for consistent accuracy
Bubble tube cleaned by pumping high-pressure air
Low maintenance required
