BT20 STEAM Biological Indicator

Bionova® BT20 Biological Indicator is specifically designed

for monitoring vacuum assisted steam sterilization processes

@ 121 to 135 ºC and gravity air displacement Steam

sterilization cycles @ 121 to 135 ºC.

If the sterilization process was not successful, the indicator

medium will turn from purple to yellow after incubation

@ 60±2 °C, thus indicating the presence of living Geobacillus

stearothermophilus spores.

If the sterilization process was successful, indicator medium

will remain purple after incubation. The final readout should

be performed after 24 hours of incubation @ 60±2 °C.
