Broadband Omnidirectional Antennas

  Omni directional antennae are used for example as indoor antennae. They are multiband capable and preferably radiate with a vertical polarisation orientation. For this purpose, they may comprise a ground or earth plate, which may for example be formed in a disc shape, on which a monopole radiator rises transverse and in particular perpendicular to the earth plate. The entire arrangement is generally covered by a protective housing, that is to say an antenna cover (radome).
