Brinell Hardness Testing Machine is simple in design and easy to operate manually yet sensitive and accurate. Brinell Hardness Testing Machine is used to test hardness of metals and alloys. Brinell Hardness Testing Machine is built strictly conforming to IS: 3804: 1966 for Rockwell, IS: 2281-1968 for Brinell and IS: 5073-1969 for superficial tests and also equivalent BS specifications. Brinell Hardness Testing Machine comes in different models including YR, YRA, Y RAS, YRAB, YRAB – 250 and Y-super.

Description of Model

YR : Rockwell type-manual load selection-manual zero adjustment of dial gauge-manual operation
YRA : Rockwell type-manual load selection-automatic zero set. On dial gauge-manual operation.
YRAS : Rockwell Type-Automatic load selection-automatic zero set on dial gauge manual operation.
YRAB : Rockwell type-all Facilities similar to YRAS with additional facility of brinell tests with 187.5 kg load with 2.5 mm ball indentor-manual operation.
YRAB-250 : Rockwell/Brinell Type-all facilities similar to YRAB with additional facility of brinell tests with 250 kg. Load with 5.0 mm ball indentor-manual operation.
Y-Super : Rockwell type only-manual load selection – Automatic zero set on dial gauge manual operation – in addition superficial Rockwell testing facility on very thin sheets for checking surface hardness.
