This precision-engineered cord clamp has earned its reputation for perfection. An innovative laser vision inspection system verifies that only clamps meeting 100% of our criteria will make their way to the Labor and Delivery room.
Place Cord-Clamp around umbilical cord. Leave no more than 6mm (14 inch) between clamp and skin junction. Be sure to center cord within the jaws of the clamp.
With fingers, squeeze clamp firmly until it locks shut.
Cut cord at least 6mm (14 inch) beyond Cord-Clamp.
Remove clamp, usually after 24 hours, by cutting though the hinge, using a MABIS Cord Clamp Clipper.
