Acc BS 3066 Bolsters are manufactured as a single piece forging from high quality carbon steel, accurately hardened to BS 3066 specification The cutting edge is hardened 52 - 58 HRC with the striking end maintained under 42 HRC The complete Bolster is powder coated and the cutting edge is accurately ground. Each Bolster is permanently marked with safety warning message Brick Bolsters are also available with polypropylene hand guards. These hand guards are designed to protect the user's hands from misplaced hammer blows.
