Application

Rotolock valves are Compatible with all CFC, HCFC and HFC Refrigerants, mineral oils, Alkyl Benzene, POE lubricants and Industrial fluids non-corrosive to steel and brass. (With suitable Gland/Seal).

Materials of construction

Valve Body: Hot Forged Brass (BS-218).
Rotolock sleeve: Hot Forged Brass (BS-218).
Rotolock Nut: Hot Forged Brass (BS-218).
Spindle: Stainless Steel 304.
Gland Nut: Free cutting Brass
Gland Packing: Graphite and Neoprene
Seal Cap: Plated steel / ABS
Seat : Stainless Steel 304
Rotolock Gasket: Teflon
Springs: SS 304
Solder: Silver solder 42%

Design

Forged Brass body and parts with SS 304 internal components minimize chances of corrosion in all conditions and allow easy brazing with copper tubes.
All ports are integrally forged and the only brazed joint is the rotolock sleeve. This minimizes chances of leakage.
Brass body and SS 304 floating internal seat allow metal to metal seating on dissimilar metals resulting in positive isolation and virtually lifelong durability.
Stem with full back seating and graphite and neoprene seals allow gland packing to be changed in open position and brazing without disassembling the valve.
No coatings are used on the Valve and internal parts.
Graphite, Neoprene and Teflon seals are available as standard accessories.

Operation & Testing.

Maximum working pressure 450 psig.
Working Temperature Range: (-30°C + 100°C).
Individual pneumatic Testing in Open/Close position at 450 psig.
Valves suitable for operation at 650 psig can also be provided on request.
