This hand moulded antique brass door knocker was handpicked by the Rustic Motifs team from the small town of Mannar in South Kerala, also known as the Bell metal town. The carved knocker with its twisted peacock motif is inspired by the the emblems of Royal Kingdoms in ancient India. Peacock has been seen as a symbol of wealth, beauty and rebirth since ancient times.
