Contact SupplierIntroduction to condensate recovery
steam is usually generated for one of two reasons.
to produce electricity(co-generation plant)
to supply heat for heating system.
After giving up its latent heat to heat the process, steam turns to water containing only sensible heat.
1kg of steam is condenses completely, 1 kg of condensate is formed at same pr. & temp.
Condensate is discharge from plant & equipment through steam trap from higher pressure to lower pr. As a result of this pr. Drop, some of condensate will re- evaporate into flash steam.
Condensate pipe contain only 15% flash stem (by mass) as compared to 85% condensate.
How we separate the flash steam from condensate, for that we use flash vessel .
Principle of working:-
the vessel diameter is designed so as to reduce the velocity of fluid in the pipe, the heavier condensate falls to the bottom of flash vessel & drained by suitable steam trap.
supplied complete with all required accessories.
designed in accordance with ibr code.
Condensate is basically distilled water which is ideal for use as boiler feed water.
Condensate which is discharge from vessel is collect & return it to deaerator, a boiler feed tank or use it in another process.
How condensate return to feed water tank or some other process?
this can be done by crps( condensate return pump system)
complete framed str. Which makes pump robust.
stainless steel internal part.
pre-wired, pre-piped pakaged for easy intallation.
supplied with condensate flow totaliser.
Beside that , we also supply,
1. automatic blow down control (abco)
2. dearator head.
3. steam trap.
