Made of core of softwood strips, Block Board is used for interior purposes in making tables, doors etc with core placed length wise to attain more strength. It is available in two grades including interior (MR) used for making interior furniture like wall panels, furniture and exterior (BWP) which is used for exterior applications. This is sold in the form of sheets and thickness is around 30 mm. It is light in weight, for it is made from wood obtained from mango, pine etc which makes it convenient for easy transportation.
