Ribbon Blender :- Ribbon a blender comprises of a ‘u’ shaped horizontal trough and a specially designed double helical ribbon rotating within. Each set having one inner and one outer ribbon. Both the sets are accurately positioned and oppositely pitched on the agitator shaft to prevent localized accumulation and effect good mixing of the products. In the ribbon blender powder is mixed horizontally as well as vertically. Ribbon blenders are suitable for free too cohesive type of powder and can handle varying densities. These ribbon blenders are used for mixing dry granules & powders homogeneously.
