Black Cardamom

Black cardamom or hill cardamom is a bud-like spice that has black seeds inside. They are used to make savoury dishes,soups, stew, dals and curries giving them a strong and smoky flavour. They possess a pungent smell almost like menthol. Black Cardamom is also one of the important spices used in making authentic Indian spice called Garam Masala. They provide remedies for respiratory problems and are known for aiding digestion.
