Contact SupplierThe Trailer Brake valve is a device that controls the trailer braking in
synchrony with the tractor braking.
The valve is usually placed on the tractor and integrated into the feeling
line of the hyd. lift & the directional valves.
The Trailer brake valve is operated manually.
In the ideal position B connect to T, and P connects to N.
When the valve manually operates at first the pilot overcomes the
return spring force, then it closes the connection between B & T and
open the connections between B & P.
If necessary it reduces the flow between P & N to generate pressure
in B.
In Load sensing valve port is connected to the B port.
The reaction surface works against the pilot force A mechanical
stop device limits the max. trailer brake pressure 140 bar (+/-10bar).
During the first part of braking, the valve can convey all pump flow to
the trailer brakes, therefore the service-connected to the N port can stay
without feeding for a short time.
