Bitumen Emulsion Cationic types for Road grades RS1RS2MSSS1SS2 approved under BIS 8887:2004 is Applied for all sorts of road works and as surface Dressing, Prime Coat, tack coat etc.It can be used even in the drizzle rains when Bitumen cannot be applied. It is a ready made Product and does not require heating. In Europe 70% road jobs are done with Bitumen Emulsion Cationic Type. In India also modified Bitumen Emulsion is being used for Road work in various rainy areas specially NE States due to Incessant rainfall known as Green Mix or Cold Mix. This is because we do not need to heat the Bitumen and can be mixed with stone chips directly and can be used.
