Salient Features :

• There are two parts in unit, upper part is calling Heating Chamber and lower part is storage tank for melt bitumen.
• Heating chamber and storage tank is fully insulated with 75mm Rockwool.
• Use of hot oil heating coils to indirectly heat up asphalt which can prevent asphalt quality from aging during heating. Seamless tubes are used for heating unit which are 2.9 mm thick and tested at 2000 psi.
• There is drum loading system by means of hydraulic cylinders and power pack to decrease man power and production coast also.

Special Technical features :

• Bitumen in drum is heated by hot oil circulating through a numbers of seamless steel coils kept around drums in closed chamber and so bitumen quality never get affected. Also melting rate achieved in high by this process.
• Bitumen filled drums are loaded into this heating chamber by a hydraulic system, so labour requirement is minimum.
• Entire decanter unit is well insulated by 3" thich rock wool around and then cladding is done by G.I. and corrugated color steel sheets so, surface heat losses are minimum.This helps in fuel consumption cost. It also gives a good esthetic look.
• Bitumen in drums get melted fast due to heat generated by hot thermic oil circulation in tubes and drain down into a reservoir tank kept underneath, where it is heated further upto about 140deg C (pumping temp) by more heating coils kept in this tank. This hot bitumen can be easily pumped out by a high capacity jacketed body pump. A bitumen line filter protects pump from any damage due to undesired solid parts in bitumen.
• There are two PT-100 type temp sensors to measure correct temp in heating chamber and of melt bitumen in bottom reservoir tank. These temp are digitally displayed on control panel.
• A flot type level gauge gives you an idea of quantity of melt bitumen collected in reservoir.
• The entire system is pollution-free, easy to operate (user friendly ) & does not require a very skilled operator.
• The system is so designed by latest technology that it produces maximum tonnage of melt bitumen by minimum fuel, mimimum number of labours and thus saves in overall operating cost.
