Sodium metabisulphite is marketed under the brand Birlasulf Sodium Metabisulphite (Birlasulf SM).
Sodium metabisulphite is manufactured by Aditya Birla Chemicals (Thailand).
Sodium Metabisulphite is a free flowing crystalline powder with odour of SO2.
Synonyms are Anhydrous Sodium Bisulphite, Sodium Pyrosulphite, Sodium disulphite
Appearance - White free flowing crystals
Appearance of 20% Solution - Clear & Colorless or Pale yellow.

Storage And Handling:

Store the product in a cool & and dry place.
It absorbs moisture & oxidizes if container is not kept tightly closed.
If heated over 60 degree C, SO2 is evolved, forming Sodium Sulphite.
