1. Proceed prophylaxis (no oil on tooth surface);
2. After prophylaxis, isolate the teeth;
3. Dry carefully with air jet - without humidity or oil;
4. Etch enamel surface with 37% orthophosphoric acid (a.e. Attaque gel) during 30 seconds;
5. Rinse thoroughly the conditioned area with water during 30 seconds;
6. Dry thoroughly. The presence of humidity in the cleaned surface will not allow the penetration of the
adhesive in the conditioned area;
7. Apply a thin layer of biofix light curing on the bracket base;
8. Immediately after step 7, place carefully the bracket on tooth surface and adjust to the correct position;
9. Press slightly (to remain a thin layer of approximately 0,5mm) and remove excess;
10. Light cure:
10.1. Using ceramic brackets light cure during 10 seconds;
10.2. Using metal brackets light cure during 20 seconds (10 seconds each side);
11. Remove adhesive excess with bur or appropriate instrumental;
12. The placement of orthodontic wire can be done immediately after bracket fixing.
