CIL provides accredited BIFMA testing services in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. CIL is the only accredited testing laboratory in India to conduct BIFMA test. CIL is an ISO 17025 accredited testing laboratory.

BIFMA is satisfied to declare that the level sustainability certification program for furniture has exceeded the manufacturer mark on the quickly growing list of companies who produce level certified products. Points earned under each of these categories determine the level of certification earned: *. Level 1. The first tier of certified presentation *. Level 2. Our broad service portfolio ensures optimum support with regard to your unique requirements. We provide expert testing and certifications for furniture of all kinds – from office, contract and home furniture to laboratory and workshop furnishings. 

Our comprehensive furniture testing includes services in the following areas: 

• Technical evaluation 
• Mechanical and / or electrical safety test
• Quality inspection and usability

• Partial tests according to customer specifications 
• Production controls, pre-shipment controls

Scope 

• CDG scopes the project and prepares a proposal. 
• Client agrees to scope and signs a work order.
• An CDG account manager is assigned to guide client through the certification process. 

Data Collection 

• Client completes Data Request Form, identifying credits to be pursued and submits to auditor along with supporting documentation. 
• Once sufficient data is collected, an onsite audit is scheduled. 

Onsite Audit 

• The CDG auditor conducts an onsite audit. 
• Onsite audits typically take 4-6 hours per facility. 

Corrective Actions 

• Client responds to any non-conformities or new information requests. 

Reporting 

• The CDG auditor prepares a draft Assessment Report that details the findings of the audit, including nonconformities, and opportunities for improvement. 

Certification Decision 

• An CDG reviewer conducts a final review of the draft Assessment Report and makes the certification decision. 
• Upon successful certification, client is listed in CDG Green Products Guide, the level certified.org website, and is granted the right to use the approved level® logo. 

Certification Maintenance 

Annual surveillance audits of a sampling of credits are required along with full scale renewal every 3 years.
