It is commonly known as false daisy and bhringraj , is a plant belonging to the family asteraceae. Eclipta has white flowers. Root well developed, cylindrical, greyish. Floral heads 6-8 mm in diameter, solitary, white, achene compressed and narrowly winged. It grows commonly in moist places as a all over the world. It is widely distributed throughout india, china, thailand, and brazil.

In ayurvedic medicine, the leaf extract is considered a powerful liver tonic, rejuvenative, and especially good for the hair. A black dye obtained from eclipta alba is used for dyeing hair and tattooing. Eclipta alba also has traditional external uses, like athlete foot, eczema and dermatitis, on the scalp to address hair loss and the leaves have been used in the treatment of scorpion stings.

It can be used as hair mask– Just mix Bhringraj powder with water to form a paste. Apply this on hair and gently massage on your hair with fingers. Wash it off after some time with mild shampoo. You can feel the difference in your hair immediately. Using Bhringraj for hair rejuvenates your hair.

Regular Hair Conditioning- You can make Bhringraj oil by adding dried and powders Bhringraj leaves into coconut oil. Boil the mixture for some time and then let it cooled down. This Bhringraj oil, when applied regularly on hair can bring added benefits to hair health. It will improve the health of your scalp and hair.

Method to use Bhringaraj Powder:

1. Take Organic Bhringaraj Powder orally as a daily tonic at 500mg or 1 Teaspoon. Add to smoothies or teas.

2. Bhringaraj combines well with Gotu Kola in a 1:1 ratio to make a hair rinse: boil 1 Tablespoon of  each in Tulsi tea with 8 oz. of water, strain and cool.

3. Then mix Organic Bhringaraj Powder with Organic Amla Powder to make a paste and apply on hair. These herbs can also be combined with coconut oil to make a conditioning oil treatment in order to impart shine, health and strength to the hair.

4. Or make a paste Bhringaraj Powder using the required quantity of powder for your hair, add little water, mix well and make a thick paste.
